Role:
 
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience consulting on Epic software implementations.  This role will be responsible for working with some of our hospital clients to assist them with their revenue cycle processes, uses of Epic software integration for their revenue cycle operations, and implementation risk mitigation. The Project Manager must consult with our clients to help them analyze their needs as it relates to how the Epic software implementation will affect the hospital’s revenue cycle operations, develop strategies tailored to that hospital, assist the hospital in properly configuring the Epic software, and ensure a successful implementation of the Epic software.  The Project Manager is accountable for assisting the hospital in developing and executing the project plan for small through large complex client projects or programs; helping optimize the utilization of resources to realize the project objectives within schedule and budget; and contributing to the project team through the client’s project processes.  An ideal candidate for this position can approach problem-solving challenges independently, enjoys working in a team environment, has a strong attention to detail, and passion for healthcare technology.
 
Requirements:
 
  • 3 - 5 years of IT project management, application analysis, requirements definition, procurement, and implementation experience.
  • Possess a history of several Epic implementation projects.
  • Understand project management principles.
  • Revenue Cycle domain experience and knowledge.
  • Customer focused.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Frequent travel is required, up to 50%, based on client requests/commitments.
 
 
Preferences
  • Domain experience in healthcare.
  • Epic certification
  • PMP certification.
