Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Work with Oracle Financial consulting team to design, configure, execute the conference room pilot and implement a new application suite of selected Oracle Financial modules that includes; General Ledger, Accounts Payable and iExpenses, Fixed Assets, Enterprise Budgeting and Planning, Cash Management, Purchasing and iProcurement and Business Intelligence. Post implementation, the Oracle Application Functional Analyst will provide support for the analysis, development, maintenance, and modifications of the enterprise-wide Oracle Financial Applications suite. A strong background in end-user support and in-depth functional knowledge of all Oracle financial modules being implemented, including iProcurement and Business Intelligence, are required for this position.

EXPERIENCE: At least five years work experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst supporting an Oracle Financial Application environment is required. Experience working in a PMO directed environment, on projects driven by business goals is required. Previous Application Developer experience in some capacity is required. Experience creating menus and submenus, request groups, roles and responsibilities and printers is required. Previous experience as a developer in an Oracle Financial Application environment is highly preferred. Healthcare industry experience is preferred. Oracle Financial Application implementation experience is preferred.


Strong background and hands-on experience with Oracle Financial Application modules listed in the Position Summary above.
Thorough understanding of Oracle Financial Applications module interactions, as well as vendor provided application process workflows and best practice configuration alternatives.
Knowledge of administrating Information Technology and end user security procedures in Oracle Financial Applications.
Working knowledge of Oracle Discoverer.
Working knowledge of PL/SQL
Ability to design, create and customize financial reports.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to work with clients and team members.
Ability to effectively obtain, analyze and convey information.
Ability to prepare, organize and present information to groups of people.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem resolution skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft office tool set (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.).


Support implementation of Oracle Financial Application suite described in the Position Summary above.
Analyze, design and develop enterprise-wide application functional solutions to meet the business and users requirements.
Investigate, determine and recommend solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options.
Perform configuration and setup work to support new and existing functionality.
Function as resident team expert for all application configuration opportunities.
Provide end user support and training for application enhancements, as well as the standard Oracle Financials functionality.
Work with end-users, other IT technical resources and/or Oracle Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues.
Work with Quality Assurance to design, plan and conduct functional testing. Assist in the development and maintenance of test scenarios for project team and end users.
Recommend best practices to management to increase the efficiency and functionality of the Oracle Application environment.
Work with the Oracle Applications Database Administrator and the Oracle Technical Analyst to perform Oracle Application System Administration tasks.
