Job Description
SAP Business Analyst III Description This position will support the Human Resources and Payroll modules within SAP. Primary contact with the business users to develop additional SAP HR/PY functionality. Lead projects to implement new and enhance existing functionality including articulating requirements and translating them into effective solutions · Analyze business processes and recommend SAP HR/PY best practices.

This position will work on problems of moderate to large scope with varying complexity where the analysis of the situation, business process or data requires very thorough review and detailed investigation. The candidate will need to exercise solid judgment with consideration of existing system configuration, business processes, and defined policies and procedures to determine appropriate courses of action and solutions to the issues they are assigned. This person will make recommendations for business process solutions and oversee the implementation of the recommendation including the coordination of core and functional resources.

As such the candidate should have an advanced understanding and knowledge of best business practices in the discipline of Human Resources and Payroll. In addition, the candidate should possess advanced system configuration skills and understanding of system configuration activities and be able to confidently demonstrate these skills.

The candidate will frequently employ innovative ideas and creativity translating them into refinement of business processes that are cross-functional in nature. Being able to multi-task (coordinate multiple projects, assignments and support activities simultaneously) and work towards multiple organizational goals and objectives is a must.

The candidate will regularly interact with internal customers on support and business initiative issues. As such the candidate should demonstrate outstanding customer support, communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and advanced technical/development abilities in support of program debugging and troubleshooting. The candidate must maintain very effective relationships with functional business areas and seeks to build additional relationships. This person must possess the ability to communicate effectively; guide peers and serve as a role model for professionalism to others. The candidate must also be able to champion business process and organizational change management.

Requirements: BS degree plus 5-8 years of SAP functional experience in the Human Resources and Payroll modules (PA, PD, OM, PY-US, PT) and 1 to 3 years of project management experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate must have experience with BW ; Experience with ASAP methodology and/or principles of PMBOK; SAP Project Systems or PMP certification is a plus. The ability to work an on-call schedule as required.
